From beautiful farmlands to quaint historic villages to upscale urban experiences Langley literally has something for everyone. Located approximately 38km from Vancouver’s downtown core Langley is close to the big city, roughly an hour’s depending on the time of day.
Langley is a stone through from the Abbotsford Airport, is extremely close to the US and Canadian border and the new(ish) highway 17 provides easy access to the ferry terminals in Tsawwassen.
There are two districts in Langley: The Township of Langley that extends south of the Fraser River to the US border, with Surrey on the west and Abbotsford on the East; and the City of Langley that is along the western central border of the area. Each district is governed by its own mayor and council. The Township of Langley has a population of about 117,000 and the City of Langley has about 26,000 residences.
